The inspiration for my artwork always comes from the human body.I find the beautiful colors of the skin particularly fascinating, and I am always on the lookout for interesting lighting situations.
The sculptural aspect of painting is also very evident in my work.
Since I hardly paint any details, I can focus entirely on form and color.
I always play with warm and cool tones, light and dark, different textures, or soft and hard transitions. As a result of this approach, my work often has a very strong abstract component.
In contrast, it is also very important for me to depict a concrete moment.The atmosphere should be palpable.
As a result, the viewer has the opportunity to identify with what is shown.
Memories and associations are awakened, and the everyday is translated into something special.
